Preview: Trinity vs. Naperville Central
Naperville Central may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. It's a road trip for them on Friday as they take on Trinity at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Naperville Central had a rough outing against Lincoln-Way East two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Naperville Central put the hurt on Naperville North with a sharp 35-7 victory.
Meanwhile, Trinity faced Male in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Last Friday, Trinity came up short against Male, falling 3-17.
Naperville Central's win lifted them to 1-2 while Trinity's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. We'll see if Naperville Central's success rolls on or if Trinity are able to steal their positive momentum.
