North Shelby extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-0. They came out on top against the Paris Coyotes by a score of 34-26. Those 34 points were actually the fewest the Raiders have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Having lost for the first time this season, Paris fell to 4-1. They haven't had much luck with North Shelby recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Paris still got an impressive performance from Luke Ensor, who threw for 274 yards and four touchdowns. Ensor has been hot for a while, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last nine times he's played.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Shelby will square off against rival Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Paris is set to challenge their familiar foe Knox County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Coyotes 14, the Eagles 13.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
