Softball Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Central Valley's offense. They came up short against the Mt. Spokane Wildcats on Thursday, falling 13-0. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Central Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mt. Spokane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Central Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on University at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th. As for Mt. Spokane, they will head out on the road to square off against Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Highlanders have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
