After a string of three wins, Hermann's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 63-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quincy Blue Devils.

Quincy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jada Brown, who went 7 for 14 on her way to 14 points and seven assists. That's the most assists Brown has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameran Byquist, who posted nine points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Hermann's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Quincy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Hermann wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-53 defeat against Keokuk on the 21st. As for Quincy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-29 victory against Boonville on the 21st.
