Basketball Game Preview: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Marlboro County Bulldogs

The Waccamaw Warriors will square off against the Marlboro County Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Waccamaw will be strutting in after a victory while Marlboro County will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Waccamaw strolled past Aynor with points to spare, taking the game 46-30.

Meanwhile, Marlboro County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 79-45 loss at the hands of Dillon. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-20.

Waccamaw's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Marlboro County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-9.

Waccamaw came up short against Marlboro County when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 64-54.
