Volleyball Recap: Downingtown East Takes a Loss

Downingtown East lost against Spring-Ford back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars came up short against the Rams, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-12.

Leading Spring-Ford to victory were Alan Quintero and Ian Right. Quintero had six digs and four aces, while Right had five digs. Those six digs gave Quintero a new career-high.

Downingtown East now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Spring-Ford, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Downingtown East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spring-Ford, they will face off against Wissahickon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
