Basketball Recap: Barnsdall Comes Up Short

Barnsdall was the 40-31 winner over Woodland when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Barnsdall Panthers took a 38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodland Cougars on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Barnsdall's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Woodland, their win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodland, they will venture away from home to square off against Pawhuska at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pawhuska is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season.
