Baseball Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott lost to Oneida back in April of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Highlanders came up short against the Indians, falling 13-4.

Micah Boles made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Scott has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Oneida, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

Looking ahead, Scott will face off against Union County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Oneida, they will square off against Jellico at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.5 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
