Recap: First Presbyterian Day Vikings vs. Tattnall Square Academy Trojans
After losing to The Tattnall Square Academy Trojans the last time they met, the First Presbyterian Day Vikings decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. First Presbyterian Day came out on top in a nail-biter against Tattnall Square Academy on Friday and snuck past 29-26.
First Presbyterian Day was led to victory by Jakhari Williams and Hayden Aulds. Williams rushed for 20 yards and two touchdowns, while Aulds rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the loss, Tattnall Square Academy still got an impressive performance from Antone Johnson, who rushed for 271 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.1 yards per carry. Johnson's longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
First Presbyterian Day's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Tattnall Square Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Presbyterian Day will face off against Stratford Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tattnall Square Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against John Milledge Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. John Milledge Academy will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
