May River lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Colleton County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Sharks breezed past the Cougars to the tune of 61-28 on Tuesday. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

May River's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Darhon Major led the charge by putting up eight points along with eight boards and five assists. Those five assists gave Major a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Luke Albright, who posted 13 points.

May River's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Colleton County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. May River will square off against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Sharks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Colleton County, they will challenge Bishop England at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will be up against the Battling Bishops' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
