Soccer Game Preview: Kimberly vs. West De Pere

Kimberly has gone a perfect 4-0 against West De Pere recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Papermaker Wasp will be playing at home against the Phantoms at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kimberly has four straight victories, West De Pere has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Kimberly proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by five) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Neenah, sneaking past 2-1. Given Kimberly's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Neenah are ranked 68th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, West De Pere fell victim to Sheboygan North and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to the Raiders.

West De Pere's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-2. As for Kimberly, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

Kimberly came out on top in a nail-biter against West De Pere in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 1-0. Do the Papermaker Wasp have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Phantoms turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
