Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Beats Clear Falls for Their Third Straight Win

Georgetown waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Clear Falls Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

Georgetown never let Clear Falls on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Mallory Miller paced Georgetown's offense, picking up ten kills. Miller got some help from Amelia Albright and her 20 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Clear Falls, they dropped their record down to 3-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Georgetown has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against St. Michael's on the 15th. As for Clear Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ellison on the 15th.
