Basketball Recap: Universal Learning Academy Takes a Loss

Universal Learning Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Michigan Math & Science 63-14. While losing is never fun, Universal Learning Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 684th, while Michigan Math & Science is ranked 286th).

Universal Learning Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Michigan Math & Science, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Universal Learning Academy will host Center Line Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Michigan Math & Science, they will welcome Canton Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canton Preparatory has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
