Softball Recap: Forest Hill Takes a Loss

Forest Hill fell victim to Cardinal Newman and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 20-0 to the Crusaders. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost seven in a row.

Forest Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Cardinal Newman, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 4-12 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forest Hill will welcome Royal Palm Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cardinal Newman, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Berean Christian at 4:30 p.m. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Crusaders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
