Softball Recap: Cuba City Comes Up Short

Cuba City was the 3-1 winner over Brodhead when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cubans fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Cuba City's loss dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Brodhead, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Cuba City has already played their next contest (against Boscobel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Brodhead, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 win against River Valley on the 10th.
