South Bend Saint Joseph had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 50-46 W over the Columbia City Eagles on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Huskies as they're now sitting on eight straight.

South Bend Saint Joseph's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah King, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 13 points. Chase Konieczny was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.

South Bend Saint Joseph's win bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Columbia City, they moved to 17-10 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Coming up, South Bend Saint Joseph will take on Maconaquah at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
