Basketball Recap: Summersville Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Summersville duked it out with Bakersfield on Monday. The Summersville Wildcats might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 69-36 to the Bakersfield Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Summersville's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Bakersfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Summersville will take on Dora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bakersfield, they will challenge Van Buren at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
