Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valley Head). They never let the Hardy Memorial Hawks get on the board and left with a 19-0 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-run performance the game before.

Valley Head let Ethan Blevins and Cayden Collins run wild. Blevins scored four runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-3, while Collins went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave Collins a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Tytan Blevins, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Valley Head's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Hardy Memorial, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Valley Head will take on Gaylesville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hardy Memorial will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodville at 4:30 p.m. on March 31st.
