Rockmart won the last time they faced Woodland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Rockmart easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17.

Amazia Christopher paced Rockmart's offense, picking up eight kills. Christopher got some help from Kimberlyn Pavon and her nine assists. Christopher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Rockmart's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Woodland, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
