Baseball Recap: Llano Comes Up Short

Llano lost to Blanco back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 8-7. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josiah Wood made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jordan Miller, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Llano's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Blanco, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-8-1.

While Llano had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
