Basketball Recap: Armstrong Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 45-18, which was the final score in the Armstrong Trojans's tilt against the Watseka/Milford Warriors on Thursday. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Armstrong dropped their record down to 8-15 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Watseka/Milford, the win (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 22-1.

Armstrong won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Urbana University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Watseka/Milford, they will challenge Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
