Basketball Recap: John F. Kennedy Catholic Gets the Win

If Bristol wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played John F. Kennedy Catholic, they should've done a better job of containing Nick Ryan. The John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles snuck past the Bristol Panthers with a 79-73 win on Friday thanks in part to Ryan, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. His evening made it 15 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Christian Swogger, who posted three points, to go along with six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

The victory got John F. Kennedy Catholic back to even at 1-1. As for Bristol, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

John F. Kennedy Catholic will head out to challenge Mogadore at 7:00 p.m. on December 13th. As for Bristol, they will take on St. John at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
