Volleyball Recap: Southern Fulton Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Southern Fulton had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Berkeley Springs on Friday. Southern Fulton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Berkeley Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 18-25, 25-15.

Southern Fulton's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kennedy Hixon, who had 20 assists, and Lakyin Hixson, who had three aces and one assist.

Southern Fulton has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Tussey Mountain on the 25th. As for Berkeley Springs, they will welcome Paw Paw at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
