Softball Recap: Fresno Christian Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Fresno Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Justin Garza Guardians, falling 16-1.

Fresno Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Justin Garza, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Fresno Christian Eagles face off against Liberty Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Justin Garza, they will take on Caruthers in a tournament on Saturday.
