Football Game Preview: Jim Ned Indians vs. Boyd Yellowjackets + How To Watch

The Jim Ned Indians will face off against the Boyd Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jim Ned will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Friday, Jim Ned didn't have too much trouble with Sweetwater as they won 24-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Mustangs are ranked 388th).

A big part of Jim Ned's victory came down to the chemistry between Cash Gwinn and his top target Breck Lawson. Gwinn threw for 213 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt while Lawson picked up 181 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 181 receiving yards gave Lawson a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Boyd played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 41-7 loss at the hands of Paradise. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Jim Ned's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Boyd, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
