Basketball Game Preview: The Lab School of Washington Dragons vs. Barrie

The Lab School of Washington Dragons will head out to take on Barrie at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

The Lab School of Washington is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since December 12, 2024 on Saturday. They took a blow against Maret, falling 81-39. While losing is never fun, the Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' District of Columbia basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Frogs are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Barrie came up short against Yeshiva on Wednesday and fell 56-44. Barrie has struggled against Yeshiva recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The Lab School of Washington will have to contain William Johnson as he made an impact in Barrie's last game. He went 6 for 10 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Nelson, who went 5 of 9 to rack up 11 points and seven rebounds.
