Soccer Recap: Lake Creek Gets the Win

Lake Creek won the last time they faced Rudder and things went their way on Friday too. The Lake Creek Lions had just enough and edged the Rudder Rangers out 5-4. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

They hit Rudder with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Landon Wallace (2), Efrain Solis, Aiden Fortenberry, and Reid Robert.

Lake Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Rudder, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing College Station the next time they take the pitch. Rudder will host College Station at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lake Creek will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
