Soccer Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Richlands Wildcats, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Clinton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while Richlands are ranked 127th).

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Richlands, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3.

Clinton has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against West Brunswick on the 14th. As for Richlands, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Topsail on the 14th.
