            Volleyball Recap: Mount Union Trojans vs. Williamsburg Blue Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Mount Union won the last time they faced Williamsburg and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Trojans walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Blue Pirates.
 Mount Union got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 14-25, 31-29,  25-18.

 Mount Union's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Lily Hicks, who  had 12  digs and three  aces. The dominant performance also gave  Hicks a new career-high in  assists (28). Another player making a difference was  Tenly Huffnagle, who  had 19  kills and 11  digs.
 Despite the  loss, Williamsburg saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Kylie Simpson  had 25  digs.
Mount Union's win bumped their record up to 8-10-1. As for Williamsburg,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-11.
