Barr-Reeve had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Princeton on Monday. The Vikings' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tigers an 11-0 shutout. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Barr-Reeve is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Princeton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Barr-Reeve will welcome Bedford North Lawrence at 5:30 p.m. on May 6. As for Princeton, they will head out on the road to challenge South Spencer at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
