Volleyball Game Preview: A.C. Reynolds Rockets vs. T.C. Roberson Rams

A.C. Reynolds hasn't had much luck against T.C. Roberson recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rockets will challenge the Rams at 6:00 p.m. A.C. Reynolds will be strutting in after a victory while T.C. Roberson will be coming in after a defeat.

A.C. Reynolds was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Enka, sneaking past 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (111-110) A.C. Reynolds actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 26-28, 17-25, 25-20, 15-13.

Meanwhile, T.C. Roberson came up short against Asheville on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 22-25, 25-12, 25-19.

A.C. Reynolds has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-16 record this season. As for T.C. Roberson, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-16.

A.C. Reynolds beat T.C. Roberson 3-1 in their previous meeting back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rockets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
