Volleyball Recap: Medina Takes a Loss

The Medina Battling Bees came up short against the Nordonia Knights on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Medina ultimately came up short, they really made Nordonia work, particularly in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 20-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Nordonia was led to victory by Avery Palinkas and Tatum Hameed. Palinkas had 25 assists and two aces, while Hameed had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most assists Palinkas has posted since back in October of 2024.

Medina's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Nordonia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Medina will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nordonia, they will take on Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
