Basketball Recap: Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Takes a Loss

Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda lost against Hills-Beaver Creek back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes fell 40-28 to the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Patriots are ranked 152nd).

Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-7.

Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda will square off against Madelia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, they will head out to face off against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
