Preview: Silas Rams vs. Lincoln Abes

Silas has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Lincoln Abes at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, Silas made off with a 64-63 win over Spanaway Lake. The victory was just what Silas needed coming off of a 79-39 defeat in their prior game.

Tyson Parker was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Antione Vallarde-larkins was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.

Meanwhile, Lincoln had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They escaped with a win against Stadium by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57.

Silas' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Lincoln, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3.
