Football Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hillcrest's offense. They fell 7-0 to the Rancho Christian Eagles on Thursday. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 30-21 to the Eagles when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Hillcrest and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Rancho Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hillcrest is set to face off against their familiar foe Valley View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rancho Christian will challenge rival Hemet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
