Soccer Recap: Calera Comes Up Short

Calera was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pell City Panthers, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pell City this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 two weeks ago.

Calera's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pell City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Calera didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 defeat against White County on the 20th. Pell City has also already played their next matchup (against Decatur), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
