Linden lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Corunna, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Eagles put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 39-13 victory on Friday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 17-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Linden was led to victory by Khare Williams and Max Widner. Williams gained 212 total yards, while Widner threw for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Linden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 215 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corunna only rushed for 83 rushing yards.

Despite the loss, Corunna still got an impressive performance from Ota Wilkerson, who rushed for 76 yards on only ten carries, and also threw for 62 yards and one TD.

Linden has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.0 points this season. As for Corunna, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Linden and Corunna will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to take on their familiar foe Kearsley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Corunna will square off against rival Clio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
