Basketball Recap: Blair Oaks Comes Up Short

Blair Oaks was the 62-48 winner over Hallsville when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Blair Oaks Falcons fell just short of the Hallsville Indians by a score of 68-66 on Saturday.

Blair Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Hallsville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

Blair Oaks and Hallsville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. Blair Oaks (ranked 50th) will meet Glasgow (ranked 215th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Blair Oaks is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Hallsville will take on California at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 146 places (64 vs. 210).
