Basketball Game Preview: Lancaster Flying Arrows vs. Richland Center Hornets

The Lancaster Flying Arrows will square off against the Richland Center Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richland Center took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Lancaster, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, everything went Lancaster's way against Iowa-Grant as Lancaster made off with a 61-36 win. The Flying Arrows have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Richland Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 57-41 to Westby.

Lancaster is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.8 points. As for Richland Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Everything came up roses for Lancaster against Richland Center in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-21 victory. Will Lancaster repeat their success, or does Richland Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
