Recap: River Bluff Gators vs. White Knoll Timberwolves
The River Bluff Gators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of White Knoll. River Bluff was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as White Knoll apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Defeat or not, River Bluff got some senior leadership from Aaliya Bonaparte who scored three points along with four steals and Adriana Henderson who scored four points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Henderson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
River Bluff has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for White Knoll, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Bluff's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. White Knoll will take on Dutch Fork at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dutch Fork presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than White Knoll in South Carolina (Dutch Fork is ranked 15th, while White Knoll is ranked 147th).
