Basketball Recap: ALA - Gilbert North Takes a Loss

ALA - Gilbert North was the 48-27 winner over Crismon when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The ALA - Gilbert North Eagles took a 48-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crismon Rattlers on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, ALA - Gilbert North still got an impressive performance from Adde Attridge, who posted six points and eight rebounds. ALA - Gilbert North is 3-1 when Attridge posts eight or more boards, but 7-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Saige Barney, who put up seven points and 12 rebounds.

Crismon found their leader in sophomore Brookelyn Pack, who dropped a triple-double with 19 points, 13 boards, and 15 steals. Those 15 steals set a new season-high mark for Pack. Hailey Pace also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

ALA - Gilbert North's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Crismon, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-14.

ALA - Gilbert North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-43 defeat against Combs on the 11th. As for Crismon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-43 loss against ALA - Queen Creek on the 11th.
