White Knoll had lost ten straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 4-20 to make it 11. They came up short against the Chapin Eagles, falling 9-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-3 last Tuesday.

White Knoll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chance Culley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

As for Chapin, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-5. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

On Chapin's side, they got a great performance from Mac Berry as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Berry has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cambell Todd was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Charlie Todd, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Coming up, White Knoll will be playing in front of their home fans against Lower Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Chapin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
