Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Hills Takes a Loss

Ottawa Hills lost against Bluffton back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green Bears fell 2-0 to the Pirates. The Green Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Sloan Clausen and Skylar Berenzweig, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Rose Kowalczyk and her ten assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ottawa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bluffton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Ottawa Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Lakota on the 17th. As for Bluffton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bowsher on the 16th.
