Coolidge is 6-1 against Banneker since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Coolidge Colts will square off against the Banneker Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Coolidge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Roosevelt, who was ranked eighth at the time (Coolidge was ranked sixth). Coolidge secured a 66-60 W over Roosevelt on Friday.

Meanwhile, Banneker strolled past Ron Brown with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-47.

Coolidge has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Banneker, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Coolidge and Banneker were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but Coolidge came up empty-handed after a 62-61 loss. Can Coolidge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
