Soccer Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Texas Tigers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Bobcats couldn't quite close it out.

Hallsville's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Texas, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hallsville will take on Marshall at 7:15 p.m. on February 25th. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Mt. Pleasant's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
