Volleyball Recap: Wimberley Comes Up Short

The Wimberley Texans didn't have quite enough to beat the West Plains Wolves on Saturday and fell 2-1. The Texans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Plains' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Idaly Sotelo led the charge by getting 20 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was CC Murillo, who had eight assists and seven digs.

Wimberley's loss dropped their record down to 13-5. As for West Plains, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-7.

Coming up, Wimberley will venture away from home to challenge Legacy Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Plains, they will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
