Mountain View Christian Academy hadn't done well against Heritage Christian recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Mustangs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Eagles. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Mountain View Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 26-24, 25-17, 25-18.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain View Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Heritage Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View Christian Academy will welcome Tabernacle Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hayworth Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
