Baseball Recap: Pittsburg Comes Up Short

Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Lisbon, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Lisbon this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-2 defeat last Thursday.

Pittsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lisbon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pittsburg will take on rival Littleton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lisbon is set to square off against their familiar foe Colebrook Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
