Soccer Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Takes a Loss

Raymore-Peculiar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lee's Summit Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lee's Summit this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in April.

Raymore-Peculiar's record now sits at 0-16. As for Lee's Summit, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

Looking ahead, Raymore-Peculiar will face off against Liberty North at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Liberty North's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Lee's Summit, they will challenge Blue Springs South at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
