Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Peoria). Everything went their way against the Olympia Spartans on Thursday as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Zabe Silotto was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

East Peoria moved to 4-13 with that win, which also ended their four-match losing streak. As for Olympia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-18-1 record this season.

East Peoria wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Pekin on the 14th. As for Olympia, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against Argenta-Oreana on the 15th.
